Buying tickets to the play, and spreading awareness on the seriousness of the issue.

Remember, every little gesture counts.

SICHREM and Stree Jagruti Samiti run programmes to help the domestic child worker regain their right to education, care, protection and complete holistic development. They are dependent solely on volunteers who think they have to give back to the society, and on funds from organisations who would like to show their support towards serious social causes. With your added contribution, the programme will benefit a large number of marginalised people. Do help as much as you can, For details on sponsoring space in our brochure, do get in touch with us at 080-25473922/25492856. or e-mail us at contact@sichrem.org

Witness For The Prosecution
-a play in support of
Child rights & child domestic workers.

At the age when most children are reading fairytales and going to school, there are a handful who put their growing bodies through a hard day's work as domestic help. Estimates cite figures of between 60 and I i 5 million working children in India - the highest number in the world (Human Rights Watch 1996, I). A good number of them are employed in homes, because the labour comes cheap.

Ask any one of these children, and you'll know that their dreams are no different from those of a child leading a normal life.

Remember, every little
gesture counts.
